What is Land of Zamar Ministries?
Land of Zamar Ministries was born out of a vision that Kenny Bartimioli received for the body of Christ in the area of praise and worship. His vision was of a land filled with the continuous praise of God for where there is praise there is joy, peace, fruitfulness, where society is consequently touched and transformed. Through the years Kenny has pursued this dream through various local church ministries, serving as a director of the House of Prayer Northwest, through traveling ministry in the U.S. and other nations, and other endeavors.
Our Mission
Land of Zamar ministries is dedicated to the restoration and advancement of musical Praise and Worship. Our purpose is to inform, inspire and encourage fellowships to embrace the Biblical principles of praise and worship in a contemporary world. We are also dedicated to developing excellence in the arts by means of training musicians, singers and worship leaders in all aspects of musical praise and worship.
Background
The word, "Zamar", is a Hebrew word found in the Old Testament meaning “to touch the strings or parts of a musical instrument, i.e. play upon it; to make music, accompanied by the voice; hence to celebrate in song and music:” (Strong's Concordance)
Ps 98:4-6
Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth;
Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.
Sing to the LORD with the harp,
With the harp and the sound of a psalm,
With trumpets and the sound of a horn;
Shout joyfully before the LORD, the King.
